Viv Ross, the former Lib Dem Deputy Mayor of Bromley - who lives in Green St Green High Street, discusses the Bus Stand with Lib Dem Councillor Grace Goodlad.

Local Liberal Democrats have met with Transport for London to discuss the overflow bus stand outside of the petrol station in Green St Green High Street.

The stand, which is meant to be used for overspill from the other stand further up the road, came in to use when buses were stopped from using the forecourt of the Rose & Crown.

Local Lib Dem Duncan Borrowman, who met with TfL said, "Many local residents are reliant on on-street parking and have been badly inconvenienced by the sudden appearance of this stand. TfL are keen to try and find an alternative, and are even willing to buy some land if necessary.

"If any local residents know of a good alternative site they should contact the local Lib Dem Team"
