money going down a drain

The Government has made money available for children's centres. The first one locally is planned for James Dixon Primary School in William Booth Road. Bromley officers first visited the school in October 2004. Since then - nothing. Not even a planning application! The Government has got so fed up at these delays that it has withdrawn £15,000 from Bromley's funding.

And this is the Tory Council that keeps complaining about lack of funding from the Government!
