Borrowman: The World is not our Oyster

Oyster card at gate

Bromley's Lib Dem London Assembly Candidate Duncan Borrowman has called for action to sort out Oyster card in the borough.

Duncan Borrowman said: "Oyster card say 'However you travel around the capital, the chances are Oyster's got you covered'; that just isn't true if you live in the large area of South East London without the Tube. You can't top up an empty card — unless you pay a single fare to get you into London or do it on line. Even if your station has the barriers that can read Oyster cards, you can't top them up there. This is yet another example of how Ken Livingstone only looks inwards from City Hall"
